These novels will not fall into sterotypical representations of avatars with blue skin or magical powers or flying monkeys. Kings will be portrayed as kings, priests as priests, human emotions and actions will be vividly real and I will take the reader back in time to become part of the grand narratives in present tense. Characters will be complex and sometimes contradictory – there will be no caricatures of people with one-dimensional ‘cartooned’ personalities pitting perfectly ‘good’ people against predictably ‘evil’ people.
